The pricing of many products and services is based on very complex tariff structures. These structures allow providers e.g. to align product volumes and service levels to different customer groups and to distinguish themselves from competitors. At the same time however, transparency can very soon become a real issue.
VAN DIJK MC assist both public authorities and private market players in attaining a better understanding of how price structures and price levels compare within one country or between countries.
For each exercise, VAN DIJK MC compose a team of sector experts, methodological experts and local data collectors. In collaboration with our clients, consumer profiles are determineed and the sensitivity of making changes to the tariff structures and parameters is analysed.
